Skyrim is a fantasy/action adventure game and I was inspired by the magical and fantasy film series of Pirates of the Caribbean. I love their film posters as the composition really replicates the excitement of the stories and fantasy aspects. It shows a row of the heroes above with the enemy and threats beneath them, foreshadowing their encounters. These posters do more than just advertise the film, they prepare the audience for what to expect and I tried to follow a similar style with this poster for the Skyrim add-on quest, Dawngaurd.
