An artistic experiment involving layering a single pattern at a time with charcoal on an A3 piece of paper. Inspired by celtic knot-work, I drew dots and connected single swirled tracks between them, using them as anchor points, beginnings and ends. The idea was to not think about it and see where our subconscious mind took us on the page. On the top left, after directionless celtic patterns, I thought of symbols from the video game I have based many of my designs on, Skyrim, known as the oblivion symbol. 
After I instantly thought of an existing concept associated with symbols, I started trying to loosely replicate the zodiac signs. These last two I produced represent the Pisces fish and the Libra scales.
